I mean, clang and its kin do help enormously, but the free-form mess of C (and I like C!) doesn't help static analyzers. This will ensure the trainer will find the game and work with it. To do this, you can uninstall all versions of JAVA on your system and then go download the latest 32 bit JAVA and install it. Use strong typing to prevent unauthorized access to memory: Haskellers have claimed that well-publicized bugs like goto fail could have been solved with proper typing - Rust allows for proper typing, so let them at it. Even on 64 bit OS, you need to make sure your game is using JAVA 32 bit version. So my feeling (well, not just mine) is that we should offload as much as we can to smart compilers smart runtimes help, too, but in the cases you mention runtimes aren't an option. We're terrible at simple things like bounds-checking, much less complex things like concurrent access to state. I used to think like you, but I've been convinced otherwise our code is horrible and full of bugs, a great many of them very serious. I'd give you embedded systems in general, as an extension of the game thing. Was fun managing the team as we load tested this stuff. Farsky trainer Reset Oxygen, Reset Health, Reset Hunger, Reset Bleeding, Reset Suit Pressure. The transactions were XML and we were leveraging DB2 and their purexml crap. Was a great experience, especially since we were moving to a single database to replace the 30 or so smaller ones which needed to handle like 300,000 transactions a second. Tin foil hatted folks have posited that it was merely a bargaining tool to get IBM to lower mainframe costs in our contracts though. Even with paying for an ESB from Tibco, the effort and risk was ginormous. We were trying a big bang with the transition and the buy in from all the disparate apps was crazy. Project ended up being shuttered due to cost and timeframes. We actually contracted IBM to help with the endeavor which is strange since they are who we pay for mainframe mips, lol. the neat and snow white ated away against the far sky of the west - bothers. Learned COBOL just so that we could transfer undocumented business rules to the new system and to trace data transformations and enrichments. You need to learn how to survive in the depths of the Ocean. With FarSky, you take the role of Nathan who got lost in the Ocean after the crash of his submarine. Use the environment to gather resources, build a base to refill your oxygen and manage all your items, craft equipment and weapons to explore and protect yourself in the Ocean depths. ![]() Just went through a huge project where we were moving most of our mainframe processing for visibility systems to commodity hardware. FarSky is a short survival game with a few hours of gameplay. With FarSky, you take the role of Nathan who got lost in the Ocean after the crash of his submarine. ![]()
